My own personal view on the PS2 is one of great feelings on what is coming out in the next couple of months. I got my PS2 last January and I payed full whack for it. I cannot be bothered with those who complain about the price cuts - my view is if you want the greatest and latest then you have to pay top dollar for them. Sure, reality is that when something new comes out, it is only a matter of time before the price falls.

I personally am looking forward to the new ISS game and SSX Tricky. But the quality in the games just seems to be getting better and better. I remember when I first bought my N64 on its day of release and you wander to yourself, "how can gaming get any better than this"
Now the PS2 is getting a great variety of software and the same thought comes to me. Of course technology will get better - but where will all this end???

... apart from that I doubt consoles will be easily mistaken for piles of sick....

One of my friends has just bought his PS2 for £199 and laughed because he knew I bought mine on day 1!

I told him that I had already had £100 out of it in gaming time, so I was not that bothered paying full whack for it.

If you want to know what will happen in the future to gaming, look no further than the film 'Existenz', it's not a particularly great film, but the concept, I reckon is spot on.

It shows how games will get so real that people won't know between fantasy and reality, because the games will be so life-like.
