There has been many great battles fought between the peoples champ, The Rock and the Texas rattle snake, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. The victors differ throughout but what would happen if the World Wrestling Federation based the winners on history and facts of the superstars instead of using storylines to decide? Hopefully this will be answered by the end of this post.

I am going to go through the facts of two of the most famous superstars in the whole of World Wrestling Federation which should determine the winner.

"STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN

Biggest wins:

Royal Rumble 1997, Stone Cold succeeded in winning his first ever Royal Rumble.

Royal Rumble 1998, Stone Cold won his 2nd Royal Rumble in a row beating new-comer Kane.

Royal Rumble 2001, Stone Cold knocked Kane out to win his 3rd Royal Rumble

Wrestlemania XIV, Stone Cold Beat fellow Royal Rumble winner, Shawn Michaels, to win his first ever World Wrestling Federation Championship.

In Your House: Rock Bottom, Stone Cold beat the Undertaker in a classic buried alive match.

Wrestlemania X7, Stone Cold defeated The Rock for the World Wrestling Federation Championship due to a twist and interruption from Vince McMahon.

OVERALL
Stone Cold on many occasions has defeated the Rock, like Wrestlemania X7 and XV. But you can't to the main event just like that, Stone Cold is still holding the record for the most Royal Rumbles won, he won on three separate occasions, 2001, 1998 and 1997. After Stone Colds most recent Royal Rumble win he has kept the World Wrestling Federation Championship to this very day, apart from when he lost the title to Angle for a day, but did have his hand under the rope when he tapped. Not only has he won three Royal Rumbles and other main events at Wrestlemania he has won main event, after main event, after event. For example at Backlash 2001 Stone Cold and Triple H won the IC, World Wrestling Federation and tag team titles.

THE ROCK

Biggest wins:

Royal Rumble 2000, the Rock made history by winning his first Royal Rumble.

Raw is War (August. 30th, 1999), The Rock made WWF history by teaming up with former enemy, Mankind (Mick Foley) by beating the mighty Undertaker and Big Show.

Raw is War (February. 1997), the Rock beat Triple H for the Intercontinental Championship, also his first title.

Survivor Series 1998, the Rock won his first ever World Wrestling Federation Championship by beating Big Boss Man, Ken Shamrock, Undertaker and Mankind.

No Way Out 2001, the Rock beat Kurt Angle to obtain the World Wrestling Federation Championship and go on to face Stone Cold at Wrestlemania.

Raw is War (February. 15, 1999) the Rock beat Mankind in a ladder match to become three time World Wrestling Federation Champion.

OVERALL
The Rock is a six time World Wrestling Federation Champion, four time Tag Team Champion and two time Intercontinental Championship as well as a two time World Championship Wrestling title holder. That says a lot in itself. He's been in more main events at Wrestlmania i can count.

THE VIRDICT
I hate to admit it but a three time Royal Rumble winner and our present World Wrestling Federation Champion would have to win this, you may like the Rock but look at the facts, it's clear who would win.

Good post Lifelezz!!! I totally agree with you that Austin could beat Rock by the facts but since Wrestlemania he seems to have changed for the worst. He seems to have become a worse wrestler because he cheats nearly every match and rarely wins a match without using his belt, a steal chair or by interference so now I think that the Rock could beat him, in a fair match anyway.
