It was old and pretty crap but that's me screwed now

I've drank and driven the rest of my wages... I haven't worked for about two weeks.

I can't live without music

And I'm doing stupid project that will keep me up till about 4

Why does your PC suck? Rip all your CDs and use Winamp. No loading times. That's what ol' MoJo does. I only own about 3 albums, everything I have is MP3. Even my stereo is an MP3 player, so I can stick hundreds of songs onto one CD. Boo ya.

Well I'm using my PS2 right now, but it's not the same.

I need music to fall asleep... so can't keep PS2 or computer on really.

My CD player, PS2, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast and PC all play my CD's fine

The stereo in here doesn't work without skipping, the CD player thing in the kitchen doesn't work, the CD player in my parents room is broken, my sister's stereo is broken and her discman is dodgy.

I have a perfectly working stereo, a perfectly working discman, a PC I can link directly into my stereos speakers and an MP3 player I'm in love with. And they aren't allowed to touch them.

What type of player? If it's one from your room or whatever, why do you have it anyway? Why not use your PC? If it's a portable one, get with the times and buy yourself an MP3 player. You may have to mug somebody for the money, but it'll be worth it.
