The future of gaming is all about the internet. When we play our games every day, sooner or later we will complete that game, we will beat the system. But when you are in the world of Virtual reality over the internet, you are dealing with a new kettle of fish. At the moment, machine is not as clever as humans. In this present moment of time, machine is only capable of doing what humans have programmed it to do. So when we play a game against the computer, there will always be a way of beating it, it becomes predictable in the end. But when you are playing someone, say on the internet, their moves become more realistic, more life like. They wont run at you if you had a Grenade launcher and them a knife (unless they were stupid) A human is at the other end of a server thinking about how to beat you. This opens up a new way of playing games. Often you find games are much better when they are multiplayer, because it offers you something better than a easy - to - beat AI system. The internet connects players who are unique at fighting you in their own way, making each experience different from the last. I call this the future of gaming, regardless of graphics and CPU power. And as competition in the internet industry rises, the price will be at some point free to all. In basic terms, the Internet is the future of Gaming.
