‘World War 1’

It’ the First World War, both sides are in a deadlock of trench warfare. Neither the Germans or British-France are making any progress, Britain is searching for a new commander, there are two likely choices; Field Marshal Haig
and …………YOU.

Within a few weeks, you are informed that you have beaten Haig in the runnings and you have been given the opportunity to control the whole of the British army.
You have to distribute vital orders and strategic offensive and defensive tactics in order to out-smart the German’s defensive trench system.

In your command there are, Special troops like the Snipers and British expeditionary force and so on. You also have the option to use aircraft, however these are very primitive, but are great to send a fake bodies parachuting down one side but actually attack the other. The navy is also under your control and they could be the key thing for you because it is t6 the largest navy force in the whole world.

The options.

The screen layout will look like this:

PIC OF THE BRITISH NAVY.

SINGLE MODE

COMBAT SIMULATOR

CO-OPERATIVE

TRAINING

CHEATS

MAP MAKER

GUN MAKER

WAR CARTS

WAR CRAFTS

OPTIONS

Single mode.

In the ‘single mode’ you are the commander of the British army. You must win various battles including ‘The Somme’, ‘Verdun’, ‘Marne’, Ypres’ and many more. You choose which squads you want to use in order to defeat the Germans. It will begin right at the beginning of World War 1, and you don’t have to win every battle you just need to destroy the Germans with your own tactics.

You can call for help from other countries to try to persuade them to help you, however usually when you seek help, the Germans attempt to even it out a bit by asking for help as well.

You practically control the whole of Britain, you can introduce new taxes to raise your money which you can invest into, the rapidity of weapons or vehicles made, the introduction of new weapons or vehicles to be invented, or into advancing the capabilities of your own weapons and vehicles. You even get to choose who you want to employ for advice etc. It is much like ‘Command and conquer’ especially in the layout but the weapons and buildings etc. are much more primitive. You have to create your own bases and trench systems to beat the enemy.

Multiplay.

You and up to 3 other friends can either fight against each other in an all against all battle or work together against the computer, using the same layout as ‘Command and Conquer’ with split screens. There are a huge amount of choices of levels, weapons, enemy’s etc…
You can create your own soldier in the ‘Create a player mode’ in the ‘options’ for first person shooting mode where you are all advancing in abandoned tows through buildings destroying the enemy.
All the maps that you have created in the ‘Map Maker’ will be accessible depending weather you’ve made them for the first person combat or the ‘Command and Conquer’ like mode.
There is the option of up to 15 simulants in any one game all with 8 settings from ‘terrible’ to ‘elite’.
You can even team with some of the computer simulants and you can control their actions. ‘Attack all enemy’, ‘Attack a certain enemy’, ‘Guard a certain ally’, ‘Go to a certain place/room’, ‘Get a certain weapon and give it to a certain ally’, ‘Go to a high place and snipe the enemy’, Etc.

Co-operative.

This is where you and one of your friends can work together not as leaders but as actual British or German soldiers. You each have a selection of squadrons you want to join, the choices range from ‘Elite paratroopers’ to ‘Front line soldiers’. Each squadron has a different set of missions. The screen is split in half, landscape or portrait you can decide. And you can even belong to two different squadrons but still do the different missions at the same time thanks to the split screen. So if you wanted you could race each other to complete your own game.

Training .

You are given a choice of what you want to do in the training mode.
Close combat training.
Behonet training.
Gun training.
Advanced movement training.

Close combat training:
This is where you work on a dummy practising your punches and kicks, as you progress you will learn more difficult moves. However it is very rare that you will use these in actual battles but if there is nothing else to use it could save your life.

Behonet training:
The Behonet is like an extra long spearhead, which is fixed on the end of your gun. These are the key weapon in close combat and are extremely effective. Here you can practise special combinations of attacks with it.

Gun training:
This is where you choose a gun and practice shooting at the targets. First you must choose the weapon you want to use ranging from; ‘Sniper rifles’ to ‘hand pistols’. You may also choose what the target does, whether it stays still, moves from side to side, up and down, fast or slow, etc.

Advanced movement training:
This is where you go around a huge obstacle coarse tackling everything from climbing huge ropes to crawling under a scramble net. The purpose of this exercise will be to learn all the different things that you can do.

Cheats.

Here you can see what cheats you already have unlocked and those that you still need to. You can unlock cheats by, completing certain missions in set times, completing various tasks in the training area, winning races in war crafts and war carts (more about those later), etc.

Mapmaker.

No game is complete without its own mapmaker. You can create your own multiplayer levels. You start with a big layout grid then you can add rooms, weapons, corridors and much more. You can make a whole town with lots of different buildings and trenches.

Gun maker.

This will be something completely new, as it has never been attempted by any game at all. Here you can edit weapons for yourself, but to ensure that you can’t just add everything it all costs money, which you receive by completing levels, so you must spend your money wisely. You can just start out with a small handgun and add scopes, increase sound and power, increase size etc.

War carts.

This is another main option. War carts is just like ‘Mario carts’ and ‘Diddy Kong racing’, it is where you race small cartoon animated war carts like mini tanks, mini land people carriers, etc. You must race these through out lots of different tracks with war scenery.

War crafts.

This is just the same as war carts but is where you race with aircraft, but not just the old primitive aircraft back then, you can use modern aircraft that we have now as well.

Options

This is where you personalise the game to your liking, by changing the settings to how you want them. These include; Sound effects, split screen portrait or landscape, etc.

If this game was made it would be a first A) because of the amount of different things available to do. B) Because of the unique things such as the gun maker is a completely new idea. It also shows different genres, Raceing with war carts and war crafts, First person shooting in co-operative and multiplayer, and finally a third person battle like ‘Command and Conquer’ and ‘Age of Empires’ in the single player mode.
