Bought his new one today "The Great Depression"

Fantastic.
"Who we be" is a killer track, right up there with Pharaoh Monche for my hip-hop cut of 2001 so far.

i've only just really got into DMX's music so i've only got the great depression so far but i'll be getting his other albums really soon.
my favourite hip hop/rap song at the moment is Coo Coo Cal - My Projects, man that song is great can't stop listening to it better though otherwise i'll get sick of it pretty soon

DMX has been in a couple of films, one called Belly, that was with NAS (another rapper) that was a ghetto gangster film, then he was in another low budget film, lots of blood and guns, which was quite appealing but he was acting alongside that old Karate geezer, as always I can't remeber his name, but the both suck at acting......
DMX's music's good though, Ja Rule is kinda the same, but he's a scrawny guy with a really deep voice, i'm still convinced it's not him.

but he was in Exit Wounds. This fact alone means that his next 10 albums, even if each is an instant classic, will only fractionally repair the respect he lost when he appeared in that godawful film

by a mile.

Oh and one of the best Hip Hop albums ever me thinks is

Method Man & Redman: Blackout, that album is the absoloute dogs gonnads

The best thing about Hip-Hop is the 'Old-Skool Krown'. I didn't think it existed until I went to Brixton one day.

I got "It's dark and hell is hot" a couple of years ago and forgot all about him.
Then heard "Who we be" on Xfm and bought the album.
