In Argentina's Aconcagua everyday there are new stories of cruelty to hedgehogs. I interviewed a woman about this and she told me that her very own sons can't afford a football, so they frighten a hedgehog with a stick and it immeadiately curls up into a ball and they start to play football with it. She broke down in tears and I made my exit, it was a very uncomfortable moment for me.
There are other stories of them being eaten and being used as back scratchers. Myself not an England fan in football but I start to boil with hatred for Argentina and am glad they beat them in the world cup. There is help at hand though, there are leg up programs which help the hedgehogs, give them food and a hole to sleep in. Although Hedgehogs hibernate most of the time there stories of hedgehogs attcking old women and squirrels and taking their nuts.
Tail's (Sonic's last known accomplice) is seen as their leader he is also the spokesman for the National Hedgehog's Leg Up Program (NHLUP). He is speaking out against the Hegdehogs who turn to mugging and tells them that they're not able to enter any of their programs. This is a growing problem and needs to be addressed, Hedgehogs are now getting shot in the streets by hitmen because they're putting off tourists coming to Argentina.
There is hope though because you're able to sponsor or even adopt a hedgehog for only £2.50 a month it can provide him with shelter, water and a pece of celery. You can adopt him for free, although you need to pass a simple test and questionnaire. The adopting program however is a sucess but they're stories of Loreal adopting 50 and using them for testing, a which personally makes me sick *barfs*.
I beg you, please adopt a hedgehog today send a SAE to
