Why does Gabrielle always have something covering her right eye?

It's because she thinks it makes her look weird and out of place. She lost an eye early on in her life some how.. nasty....

Gabrielle presented N'Jay, the winner of Mobo Unsigned, with her award. She told Radio 1 being at the competition reminded her of when she was starting out. The songstress said that in the early days she wore an eye-patch, rather than her trademark sunglasses, but she often had problems with it on stage:

"I was singing on stage and it popped off. The audience just went really quiet because they thought, 'What is behind that eye patch?' They were expecting a glass eye or something like that."

She laughed: "We used to get the patches from joke shops in the early days I didn't have money to make them".

That's the reason why she also wears sunglasses but she was real freaky when I saw her when I was young,she pulled the hair back.

Gabrielle was sent back in time to kill the profit james cameron to stop him making terminator, so that people wouldn't know what was going on when it actually came true, and all pop stars were replaced with robots with no personality and a big smile.

Unfortunately, she failed, and in the process, was accidently poked in the face by james cameron's father, who had also come back from the future, exposing her evil-looking red eye. Hence the eye patch.

Fortunately, B-sky-Bnet's masterplan, which had began with the monkees all those years ago, was successful, and westlife top our charts today. At least until britney releases again.

she had a manky eye and wore the patch then had surgary now its just a style..doesnt make her a better singer though.
i wonder if it gives her super powers

Maybe its a prison in which she has trapped a miniture Gabrielle... who is only two inches tall and is forced develop names for all the new boy bands?

Or maybe its a magic wish eye... whereinany wish you make on the eye will come true... just be careful what you wish for!!!

I heard a few years ago that she had a dodgy eyelid or something, that didn't look very nice, so she covered it.

She was supposed to be having surgery to correct it... whether she did or not, I don't know - but as she still wears the patch, I assume either the surgery didn't do the trick, or it did and she just likes the image it gives her.

Or maybe she's a pirate and has lost her parrot... I dunno.
