The object of the game is obvious: to become a roadsters expert and to win all trophies.
The game will have four different modes of play they are,
Championship mode: Here you will have to compete with 8 different competitors. You will have to earn money just like the last Roadsters game, But before the race you will have to walk about the place until you find a car you like then… guess what? You steal it of course, then your of avoiding getting nicked by cops while your trying to reach the finish line but if you get nicked you will loose your car and you will have to go and look for another car to steal, only this time you’ll try harder not to get caught, will you?
If you reach the finish line you keep the car you stole. Also if you like you can race the car you stole in the first race by selecting it from the garage. You will also be able to customise your car along the way by putting stickers on the bodywork you will also be able to spray paint it to your own desire. The customisations you make will be crucial in avoiding the police because they will still chase you in every race.
You refuel and repair instantly by driving through garages, you don’t have to stop so it’s very convenient, especially if you’re being chased by the local fuzz.
Training: in here you will be faced with every possible situation, you also get you driving license here. Which means you cant compete in the championship until you’ve passed your driving test.
You will be taught how to take the corners properly and even handbrake turns there will be a lot to learn, you will even have to drive through a slalom of cones.
Time trail: lets you improve on you’re driving skills and improve on your lap times.
OHH I almost forgot the multi-player mode how silly of me.
In the multi player you and up to four friends will be able to play in a pursuit mode, you can squabble between yourselves who’s to be the good guys and who can be the bad guys.
THE CARS: Just like in the last game there will be three classes of cars, class C, B, and A. Class C being the slowest B being the next fastest and class A being the big boys cars You will also be able to customise the cars anyway you want. There are 50 cars to start with but you will need to unlock the other 50, so that should keep you out of mischief for a while.
THE TRACKS: There will be about 25 tracks available to start with and 35 when the game is finished, all the tracks a located near or in London.
THE DRIVERS: There are 10 drivers to start of with, and 20 when the game is complete.
THE CONTROLS: The controls are just the same as in the last game. A= Accelerate, B= Brake, C up =to change the view, C down = to use the handbrake, and if you press Z and hold the control-stick back you can reverse.
So there we have it a nice new n64 game… To think about that is!
