SO anyway once in horde i was playing and i got a golden LANCER i played a coupple of matches with it when i got back to the lobby i DIDN"t have it so i went and braught gears of war 2 limited edittion there was no coden for the lancer

I wouldn't hold your breath TBH.There's a code on eBay and the bidding is up to £30 already (item no.140423902672).
I don't know how limited the limited edition is but there could be a chance of ordering the limited edition and cancelling the order you have made. Something to look into at least.
Yeah,Warhunt is right.Any unlock codes will only work once and also Gears Of War 3 is not out until next year !.

Unfortunately it is unlikely that you will receive a code, as I imagine the developers are pretty hot on making sure that the codes only work once etc.
