GT3 is a sequel. But for some reason I spend more time watching replays than I do playing it. (Tried putting your replays to music and watching they synched version? It's addictive.) There's no way I'd ever consider getting Gran Turismo or Gran Turismo 2 now for my PS2, they just don't compare anymore. Probably the BEST thing about it being a sequel is that it IS a sequel and I don't have to spend a lot of time relearning all the tracks again, so I can get straight into the game at high speed.
GTA3 is a sequel. But how different can a sequel be? It's better than Driver in that its got most of Driver's features, you've just got to find them, which makes everytime you play the game a bit of an adventure in that you start outside the hideout thinking: "Now then, shall I do a mission? Shall I pull off a unique stunt? Shall I see if I can shoot down a helicopter? Or shall I just have a wonder about and see what else I can find?" And it's soooo different than GTA or GTA2 that you wonder what's going to come along next.
MGS2: Sons of Liberty is going to be a sequel. If it's anything close to being as different to its predecessors as GT3 or GTA3, then the PS2 is going to sell like hot cross buns next Easter.
If the sequels are like
> GT3,GTA3,metal gear 2 then I ain't complaining :-)
Exactly. If the games are good, then who cares!
