My Radiator is smaller than the PS2, my dogs extcrement looks better than the PS2, so why do you lot love it. PS2 has gone other board in the gaming industry. Not only has it tried to be a game console, it is trying to be a "Home entertainment system." " And our survey says.... EEEEHHHHGGGGG." Oh bad luck Sony. Instead of going for a quality console with inspirational games, it has slapped up a bit up hardware with nothing but sequels. The DVD is apparantely not upto Scratch, two ports, i mean come on Sony, even the N64 managed that. YOU CALL THIS NEXT GENERATION CONSOLE material. Now look at the Dreamcast. Hmmm... looks pretty cool. Hold on, whats this, you mean SEGA were decent enough to throw a modem in with the launch price. Ok, it has a 33,6k modem, but thats better than nothing. Ok, all you Sony Bottom lickers are thinking, " But there is a modem with it, and its Broard band." What they didnt tell you is there will be a 30-40 pound line rental, SUCKERS. Hold on, DC provides a free ISP, thats jolly nice of them. Wow, they even sent me a free game to go and kick the Krauts butts. So, drawing near to my cussing of the PS2, I would like to say... LONG LIVE SEGA. Please feel free all you DC fans to back me up. And the names J.Lucas.

Well, I do agree that Sega has very bad timing. They brought out the DC and there was a huge hype about it, people getting up at midnight on it's release date to buy it. But when they realised it was nothing pecial they shoved it to the back of their cupboards and forgot all about it. Well, maybe not the huge hole in their savings. But now we look to the future and see the Dolphin and X-box. Will they be worth it?

I thought £300 is the price for a Fony Greystation 2 without a modem and all the other cheap Sony stuff which costs a fiver to put together!

Well, this is nice... a discussion about me now is it? okay, £300? i don't remember that, got mine for £100 and it was well worth it! i aint cheap, i just got much more sense than money, unlike, it would seem, you who will buy anything expensive because of the label right? well that's what you imply. Going down you say in your crib, well i'm amazed that a baby managed to post on this forum and i have no intention of going down in your crib. I have opinions and i'll voice them, and if you don't like it, stop coming to this forum! the Nintendo, by the way, has always been the best console. Playstation was just trickery, and Sega? well they were funny once, but never worthwhile.

But the thing about the N64 was when they made their games, quality was put in instead of quantity. I know this is a very good thing, but it never quite kept all those Gamers interested enough to make them stay with Nintendo. And if you remember when the N64 was launched, the console was £300 and the games were £70. A week or so later they dropped their price to £250. So they are not all rise and shine as you may see them. They have never been as popular as PSX or PC, so stop living in a dream world. I admit, the Dolphin or Star Cube may be good, but they are just switiching over to DVD apparently. Instead of carts, they can make games faser, and I guarante they will start to slap out games like nobodys business just like Sony did with their console. So their Policy og quality games will be gone. That is my view.

Yes Edgy, you are absoloutely right, Sega are a failed company and continue to fail, while Sony are a Fake company and continue to fake that they can make a gaming machine. Nintendo will live long because they plan well and appeal to all (almost). Well i think we can lay this discussion to rest now because all argumants lead to this same conclusion. Well done!

Like I said before, I'm a Nintendo fan but that's not why I'm going to say what I'm about to say:

Sega have bad planning! The megadrive was brought out at the right time as was gamegear but Nintendo won both battles for domination. Next there was the megacd, I never heard of that til a few years ago so I'll put that to a lack of advertising. The sega saturn was a good console but brought out to late! People wanted that technology earlier and when Nintendo and 'Fony' brought out their consoles, Saturn was instantly forgotten about. Now the Dreamcast, this was brought out too early and needed even better technology to compete with! AT virtually the same time, Nintendo, Sega and Sony decided to develop a new console each, Sega did a rush job and put together a good but obsolete machine! This was due to bad planning! this has given Nintendo and Sony something to do their own research on and improve but I doubt Sony could improve the features of a public loo let alone a new console!

Well i totally agree about the PS2, it is a waste of time. However i must point out to you that the Dreamcast will never be recognised as it has already passed into the void of time. Yes the DC was never as popular as the N64 or even the Playstation and since technology has already moved on it's gone. The new Nintendo console should be good and Nintendo will always be the front runner in consoles. With the x-box on it's way it looks set to be popular and i suspect it is intended to damage if not destroy the console industry as it is basically a games dedicated PC. Well as i wave goodbye to Dreamcast "We never knew ye" i say that the PC will live forever and if anyone is important in consoles it's Nintendo.

i totally agree edgy, their diskmans and televisions are cool, and their new range of mp3 player are cool aswell, but with only two attepmts at making consoles, you can clearly see they are in-experienced. As you said, Nintendo and Sega make their own games, and excellent at that. If you look at magazines with the top 100 games, about 3 N64 games are in the top 10. DC has yet to be recognised, as it has not even been out for a year. Im afraid to say that the N64 is coming near to the end, but still remains are memories and the respect for nintendo, and that respect will help sell their next Dolphin or Star cube.
People do not remember the PSX was out for about 2 years before it became popular, so if we all give the Dreamcast time, it will pull through.

I'm a Nintendo fan and not really keen on SEGA but I'm backing you up as I hate Sony! They have poor quality machines, games, etc!

Their other hardware e.g.diskmans are ok though!
