When we look at games coming out for Dreamcast, PC and PS2, we think to ourselfs, " Wow check out those Graphics." We are then told what we are experiencing is "3-d gaming." In my eys, the future of gaming will be 3-d images projected by Holograms in the home. Another source is Virtual Reality. Throw the Human body into a world that looks like its own, you know it becomes more than a game. And what is the Objectives of Games now days, to be fun, to make money, but most of all to convince the player this is as real as it gets without doing it. Imagine being plugged into a "Matrix" game simulator, then connecting to the internet using Broard band modems, with a constant stream of scenery loading. A multiplayer Death match is not fun any more in these circumstances, it is a fight to survive. Im sure you prefere looking at your 2-d television or computer screen than being in a 3-d world (!) So next time you are playing your driving games, thinking how good they are now... just imagine the possibilities in the next 10 years.

There was a Virtual Reality machine by Nintendo years ago, Virtualboy. It didn't take off though as it gave all the Japanese headaches!
