I can't sign in to MSN Messenger. It says my password and/or username is incorrect, or doesn't exist.

I would send them an e-mail, but unfortunately, I can't get into that either.

So does that mean I've lost all my e-mails?? All of my 100 MSN contacts? EVERYTHING!?!?

There is one word for me to say right now: Damn.

maybe it's just a glitch in MSN and you'll get it back

Very weird that, it

It's happened to me and that was when someone nicked two of my hotmail accounts.

Yes, I got it back by changing my password.

And then I had to change it again the next day. But it seems okay now.

Thanks for your help.

And yes Stryke, SR wouldn't approve.

If you do have to sign up again do what I do, and put your secret question as "Whats my password", and have the answer as your password... ;) If someone knows your password then they will get in anyway, if they don't then it'll take just as long to try and crack it.

Look's like someone has got your secret question right Ant.

MSN ask you to supply a secret question so that if you forget your password you can then change it to a new one. This can also be done by anyone and they can have a 'crack' (hehe) at your secret question and therefore change your password to their liking.

I say - if you cannot find who done it and they won't give the new password then just aget a new account, it's always good to start a new :)

I'm very sorry to hear that Ant. I hope you get it back soon. Here's the possibilities of what could have been done.

A mate or a hacker online got into your MSN account and changed your password. I'm sure this can be rectified by answering your Secret Question and changing your password back to what it was.

The other possibility is that MSN are having problems with their servers. I don't have MSN Messenger, but I'm always hearing that their servers are mucking up.

I'm afraid to say this, but it's probably the upper. I'm always hearing through my various newsgroups of mass hacking on Hotmail. So, here's what I suggest. Go to "Forgot Your Password" and answer your secret question. Once you have access of your account back, change your secret question, or it's possible to be hacked again, if it was used that way. Anyway, I hope you get it back mate.

Hope I helped.
