He was nervous as his guitar was buggered.
Yup I thought they where taking the pi*s at first, the lead singer sounded crap, thought he was joking around using a weird voice but then the song ended.
I've heard other live tracks by them and they sounded much better, maybe before the show he forgot to spit and decided to swallow.

We obviously watched different MTV Awards, Blink 182 sounded rubbish live! They must do some serious editing for their videos, the guy singing looked really nervous!
