I like the fact that many schools spend oodles on IT but the kids that use them are all thickos and need decent teaching, rather than pentium 4s. Most jobs that require people to use computers in some capacity, also require people to be able to read and write properly.

Heh. I'm getting my iPod when I go to America in the summer, a nice 15Gb one for £147 (I love exchange rates :D). Either that or I get a 2nd generation 10Gb off of eBay for about £120.
If I were in that Uni I'd say - "Not needed, I'll use my own"
