I am shortly going to America and am thinking about getting a GBA SP when I am there as it is only $99 (£64). My only worry is if the game catridges region coded? Can you play UK games on a US GBA SP? or vice versa. I have a few old Gameboy games I would resurect and play on the SP if it would play on the US version

Anu help would be grately appreciated

I was going to order an SP from Amazon.com, until I found out I couldn't. It would have worked out at £56 (at the time) for the SP, £12 for Golden Sun, £18 for Golden Sun 2, and about twenty quid for some other games like Link To The Past.

But they don't export video games.

$99 is only £61. And don't say three quid isn't important! :D

A voltage converter is only a couple of quid so it seems to be a ggod deal. The games are much cheaper there as a normal game is $30 (£19) which is much cheaper.

Thanks for the help guys and I will thinking of your kind help when I am lying by the pool in August in Arizona and Las Vegas for 3 weeks. :o)

Who knows, if I win big in Vegas I may buy a whole lot of goodies on my travels

I'm 99.9% sure that the GBA SP is an all-region machine, meaning you can play games from any region on a machine from any region.

I don't think the carts are region coded, as I can play American SMB Jnr. on my British SP.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
