After watchin Kurt Angle's reason for jumping ship on thursday's Smackdown!, I got thinking. He said "When It's all on the line, including your career, who can get the job done - who do you want on your team?"

Of course he answered Austin, not a bad choice in context. But if (in some bizarre other world) your life had to be decided in a wrestling match, and it wasn't scripted, who would you choose, and in what type of match?

That is a hell of a question. Try and take it seriously, and we could have a really good topic going here.

Rules: Any wrestler, male or female, past or present.
Any kind of match (give reasons)
Why?

I await your pensive responses.

This topic seems to have died since the non-reply of Jetster, so I'm opening it up to everyone's views.

Feel free to add anyone, as I think this is a good topic and would like to see some more opinions.

Thanx.

No one will choose me coz im not around much, lol. Sorry to break the rule but im bored of waiting so i would ever have Bret Hart, in a "I Quit" match (remember Bret vs. Austin) coz hes very good with the sharpshooter (Bret vs. Yokazoumo (poor grammar) and the way he cleverly put him in the sharpshooter, but he got cheated out of it by Yokazoumo's trainer). Or I would have........EDGE (the old cheating funny Gothic EDGE) in a TLC as hes won 2 out of the 3 of those match's but he also won a ladder match at Wrestlemania 16 which had chairs and tables also) So he would cheat and use the One-Man-Con-Chair-To! hehe! (by the way good question!)

The rock
Steel cage match
Because the rock is simply electrifying, is great in a steel cage match and is a personal fave.

Jetster..

I would put my life in the hands of Benoit or Shamrock. They are quality wrestlers. It would be a submission match or a no interference one on one.

I choose Ice Blaster to post next.

Yep, a submission match would have to be my choice.

Your turn, Grandprix.

Hehe, thanks Prove Me Wrong.

Anyways, I would have to nominate either Triple H, Chris Benoit or, and this may surprise some of you, Austin.

Triple H because of the reasons stated by Prove Me Wrong, Benoit because he's probably the best wrestler in the WWF at the moment (arguably,) or Austin because as well as being quite a good wrestler, his cheating usually gets him the victory.

But overall I would say Benoit, as HHH and Austin have beem more prone to turning on people.

Right, I nominate Grandprix.

New rule: last person to post must nominate the next one. And, as I have read some appreciation for my comments (being a mere "Just Arrived") from Ant. And he knows what he's talking about, so Ant, I nominate you.

P.S if you think this rule sucks ignore me.

I'll start you off.

HHH.

No, not because he's my favourite (I nearly chose Benoit or RVD).

He is resilient, resourceful - equally at home in hardcore matchups or standard pinfall. He is a genius - the best wrestling mind in the business (remember Austin plot?). 4 time WWF champion. Frequently beats the best of em. Mentally and physically calm. He adapts to any situation, and he has pure strength.

Match - steel cage. He is the master of the cage match. (HHH Vs. Austin, best 2 out of 3 falls match. Remember?)

I'd put my life in his hands any day.
After all, It's all about the game!
