Go on admit, you've been first in the queue at your local games store at midnight on the day of release of the latest consol, I've done it.
I've queued up for the N64 and Dreamcast only to find a couple months done the line, the price has been slashed and they are chucking a couple of games in for good measure.
That's really anoying! I mean really anoying!!!

OK you could argue that you've got a few months in on your new consol and money can't buy time back, but it always happen they drop the price drastically.
It's not fair because most gamers can't wait 6 months they need the best now, right now, so you can show off to your mates.
Why do they do it, is to wind us gamers up or what.
I don't know about you, but I'm going to wait for the Gamecube?
If you agree or disagree please coment, cheers Crusher.

Well, like you say, there are people like you who want it first, not a few months down the line, so then you have to pay for that, you don't get the right to have it first for free these days, unfortunatly.

But then theres the rest of the people, people who would like the console, but won't pay that kind of money for one, onlt maybe around Christmas time, but still some people just won't pay it, me being one. So in order to keep sales going, they have to cut the price so people like me are more willing to spend the £££ on it.

I mean, if I couold have had it for the same price on launch day, I would have gone out and joined the que like you for one, so why would I wait to months to pay the same price?? Answer, I won't, so the cost has to come down.

Thats just the way it is right now, so if you really don't like paying that much, then you'll just have to be one of those who doesn't get it first, otherwise you'll have to pay up, and like it. The only way to get rid of this method is for nobody to get the console on laungh .... but really, do you see that happenin anytime soon??
