Now you people might think this is a bit weird from reading the title but it is. The first lesson i had in year eight (this meaning that the class is mostly twelve) we were learning how to write, save and open a word document, A BLUDDY WORD DOCUMENT!!! That was the whole of the lesson.

This is one of the only subjects i have been in where i know more than the teacher. We were creating websites today and he wanted everyone to use WSIWYG on MS Publisher, I then proceeded to type out basic HTML onto wordpad. He then asked me what the hell i was doing and after i said 'It's HTML' in a rather sarcastic way HE GAVE ME A DETENTION. The most i have learned in IT is how to start a hidden game in MS excel, because i taught myself the rest when i was in primary school. IT would be useful if it was hard and challenging and taught us how to use computers better and more efficiently. (BTW press and hold ALT and press tab with multiple apps up). I have learned shortcuts through trial and error, i have learned to program and use programs from books and experimentation. If we were allowed to do this we would learn much faster.
