I propose that for an item of food purchased by your good self from a fast food chain or independent store to qualify being bigger in size on the menu then its predecessor, there must be a 50% increase.
Therefore, a 'Small' coke weighing in at a lowly 0.3 litres would have to be 0.45 litres to qualify for the prestigious title of 'Medium' and so on and so on until the diamond encrusted crown of 'Extra Large' is awarded to a coke carton containing a whooping 0.94 litres of coke.
