Ice themed levels on games suck. The control is poor, because you slip around everywhere.

Fire & Ice on the Amiga (early 90's)

Mine's older than yours :-p

Wonderboy was early to mid 80's.

Fire & Ice on the Amiga (early 90's) had slippery slidy ice levels as well.

Well Wonderboy (Arcade and Sega Master System) had slippery ice conditions.

You would run, try to stop, but just slide for a bit.

What was the first game to have realistic (as in slipping etc) ice? Was it Mario 64?

To be honest, the only ice level I've done was on Spyro the Dragon. Quite easy really, although I did rush it.
