Not really, no. You would find yourself lost in the game. Another pokemon game- catch all 43673 pokemon!! Groan.
I quite like the current Pokemon games, but I find they get boring after a while, because of the lack of orginality or a decent storyline.
I think the next Pokemon game should give you complete freedom of what you want to do, without any fixed storyline. You should be able to get the badges in any order you want, choose to battle with who you want, or even break Pokemon League rules and attack humans with Pokemon, or send out more than one at a time, if you choose.
You should be able to choose between good or evil, you can sell your Pokemon for money if you choose, or even join Team Rocket.
You should be able to trap Pokemon with nets etc and rob shops with the use of your Pokemon.
Basically, Pokemon Unlimited!
