Streets of Rage used to be one of my favorite games, but now it seems to be boring.

I was playing all these games the other day on my Xbox =) you know with the emulator. Got the full Master System set of ROMs on a DVD, its nice to play the classics once in a while, wouldnt bother buying them though!
Oooh, on the GBA you say. Hmmm, as for a next-gen update, as long as it would stay side-scrolling it'd be great. Otherwise, 3D style, it'd suck.
According to NGC, there was supposed to be some announcement at E3 on how a number of MegaDrive 'classics' will be on their way, ported to the GBA.
But it's over, and as far as I'm aware, we've heard nothing! :(
I know Golden Axe is on the way, in some kind of "SEGA Smash Pack" for the GBA (which may not get released in Europe...), but I would absolutley love to have the chance to play the Streets of Rage games, again!
Or maybe a next-gen. update - that would be even better!! :)

Just been playing Streets of Rage 2 and its absolutley brilliant. Simple but executed so perfectly.

I have just got the Sega Megga pack for the Dreamcast with Sonic, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage 2, Shinobi etc! What a pack of games, absolutle classics everyone of them. I must say though Sonic is taking up the most of my time, One of the best games ever without a doubt.
