Ok let me firstly say "A-bah? Wah?" because i am stumped.

I spotted this extra feature, played with it for a while and all i can do is make a cheap beep tune and the bad vabrate at various speeds like some form of battery powerd sex aid.

Can anyone else do anything more? anything a little more productive maybe?

The combat is good, missions great: a bit linear but plenty to do. Driving ain't bad but could be improved. Agents are bloody hard, class sequences trying to fight one, enter bullet time and it looks even better.
Its a good game and fully enjoyable, maybe once I've completed it I'll have a different opinionl; but the option of Ghost or Niobe and the feature to drop guns etc. into the matrix gives the game an added length of playability. Plus, the hacking really is a sub-game in itself.

Back to hacking... Is the hacking mode limited to have much of the game you have completed??? Im not that far through the game and can't seem to do much more in hacking without a few pointers.
I had no luck either at the websites and want to do more, theres got to be another drive; C: or E:... I've got A:, RAM:, and V: so far I think...
Gonna try again soon.

Hacking the matrix rules I completed it on friday (unlocking a training room and multiplayer) it is all just a sequence to find the next bit of information, just like a puzzle.

I tried a bit of ingenuity and entered the URL as www.thematrixgame.com .....

Anyway, apart from the rubbish thing where you move the cursor around to reveal the pictures and boring quotes I didn't find anything at all on the site.

I went to the two websites, played around trying to find stuff, found nothing, decided couldn't be bothered to look anymore so found the cheats on Google. Nice idea but damned if I was wasting any longer trying to find stuff...

apart from mincing about with some hacking rubbish, is the game any good, or does it make you want to apply a snooker-ball-in-a-sock to the waschowski brothers?

This feature certainly is cool. Got the game this morning and have been playing it all day. After a few levels I thought I'd take a look at the Hacking system, very cool.
I've got quite far so far I think: entered the virtual drive and ram, chatted with Trinity and Sparks, got some dial-up numbers, but got stuck on the part where it said visit www.thematrix.com and www.danielinstitute.com: nowt on the websites of any use???

Anyone else got any hints, without actually doing it for me...Cheers!

This feature just got fun, seriously. Hacking the matrix is the best extra feature going on any game.

I keep making weapon drops in the Martrix, one of the most fun being the sword

Use Nmap to find a vulnerable SSH server and then use the SSH1 CRC32 exploit.

Well, that's what Trinity apparently does in the film anyway.
