Anyone else think this would be a good idea?

Even though I haven't seen Reloaded, this idea is getting more and more appealing to me.

Having played Enter the matrix through with both characters now, I think that the bonus multiplayer game is pretty damn pants.

A beat em up would be far better.

With the new films, the universe is expanded so that there are enough characters to do this.

Agent Smith
The Twins
Neo
Ghost
Niobe
Trinity
Morpheus
Switch
Cypher
(The other agents that names were never mentioned)
etc

and probably others - excluding charcters such as dozer or tank (plus any operators or original people of Zion) - who could be used in other ways.

The problem is that using focus and having weapons in a two player game would be difficult, however I have a way around it.....Trigger the use of bullet time as a special move, obvioulsy with some moves being common to all characters. (with a zoom in when a move happens)

The problem is that even in a split mode it would lead to there being time differences.

Like MK5, there should be more than one style of fighting (my personal favourite would have to be 'Drunken Boxing' - as seen in the orginal in the styles put into Neo's brain.

Weapons could also be used, with special moves to trigger bullet time and watch your character avoid being hit.

I can just see - renactments of Morpheous fighting Neo in the Dojo, And agent smith getting kicked about inside a circle of smiths in the endurance game.

FOur player split screen could se two on two battles, in places such as the lobby)

I know Enter the Matrix does a lot of this, but this is the sort of game I was looking for.

Any other suggestions?

If only Santa could bring this to me........

But i doubt it.

A beat-em up would be great, but using bullet time would be difficult as it'd need to be split screen, which would be cool, as in one screen one character would be going really quickly whilst the other is at normal speed etc.

BUt unfortunately, a split screen beat em up would suck.

What a prediciment.
