What??? This message is pretty old but I just noticed it. I only buy PS2 games that are entertaining, and so do all PS2, XBOX and Gamecube owners. We dont buy games that we don't like, and if we do it's by accident and they are returned to the shops.

Exactly, people don't see past the cartoons etc. like you said.
Pokemon in general is very kiddy - the crappy cartoon, cards, toys. Very nasty merchandise obviously aimed at kids and just a general feel it's all too childish.
But the games themselves are jewels. Great fun, long lasting, pretty tough at times - I'd like to see any kid try to 'catch 'em all' as they're so frequently ordered to do. Infact, seeing any adult achive this would be pretty impressive.
