The orginal silent hill came out on the psone in 1999 and was one of the survival and first finest horror game to follow in the bloody wake of resident evil.importantly the development team based the game around an ordinary bloke rather than a SWAT team,so the emphasis was less on big guns and more on psychological terror =. The game also used true 3d enviroments rather than the 2d pre-rendered backgrounds employed in the resident evil series adding greater realism to the experience.
and say which is the best of these two great horror games.

Kid rock you know what right and i say that horror game's are good.
i have resident evil 2 never really played it though found the controls awkward but got used to them now so i dont bother with it as much
