Please feel free to delete/edit this post if it's deemed to only make things worse!

I notice Staff edit: URL removed are showing how to get around your .info givaway - 'UK Only' restriction.

After reading posts elsewhere I appreciate you are manually checking all applications.

I hope that some of the people that have managed to get hold of a free domain name don't end up getting Freeola's email servers Blacklisted or similar if they go on to use them for dodgy stuff!

Just a thought...

Thanks for that Hmmm.... we are aware of several of such 'schemes' and have taken measures, in some cases retroactively, to prevent any issues being caused for genuine customers.

I'll leave this thread here for now in case this particular post wasn't known to us while we investigate.

EDIT: Beaten to it, although now we can't chase up the URL if we don't know what it is :S

I've done it for you!
Yes people can try and get around the restrictions but we do check every application and can cancel domains if necessary. Proxies are detected and blocked as well.

Freeola & GetDotted are rated 5 Stars

Check out some of our customer reviews below:

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
Very pleased
Very pleased with the help given by your staff. They explained technical details in an easy way and were patient when providing information to a non expert like me.
