One thing that shocked me about the PS2 when I first saw it was the size of the thing.
All of the reports of an 80's VCR had me believing that it was going to be absolutely huge, but it's not it's much smaller than I ever imagined. It's appearance is very nice indeed, standing horizontal, or vertical, it looks great either way!

WHAT it's a cube? well i'll be damned there was me thinking it's a bloody triangle. i don't care if it's called gamecube, gamerectangle or gameparallelogram the design IN MY OPINION looks ugly i don't care if it's sposed to be designed on the name of the console it looks nasty. i ain't talking bout the quality of games at the moment i'm sure there's a few just like there is on PS2 i'm talking bout the design right now

It's a cube, fool. And if you had to get a console based upon the quality games it has for it, then the GameCube would win hands down.

No - they were trying to be original, and they suceeded. They came up with a bloody cube for christ sake - it's a better design than the PS2's rectangular, boring black shape, I can assure you, you chimps.
Just being Nintendo is right, they are always this good at designing things, if you ask me.
