Thought I'd start a thread so we can share ideas, seeing as it starts soon.
Did anyone join in last year? Top idea by Nokia - very well designed, implemented and marketed. Hopefully this year it'll be even better.

AH! i'm at college and the browser's filtering the word games, it's strange how I got here.
ok, for those of you who weren't involved last year...
It was basically a treasure hunt. You got various clues that led you to the next stage which eventually led to your kidnapped friend.
The majority of the clues were via email, but you also had to watch tv/radio ads, you got sms messages and recorded phone messages, and such like, If you got the question wrong, didn't complete the task, logged into the wrong url, didn't log on between the specified hours etc, you got knocked out - end of story.
The thought that went into it was absolutly ace and the flash website is *class*!
I was just wondering what you lot thought of this. Do you see it as a game or just advertising for Nokia? This years game is now underway, with a task that *must* be complete by Tuesday at 11am. After that the site is not available. Is it too intrusive, or is it a bit of fun?

I went to sign up but it says it is not compatable with IE6 so I didn't bother.
