I believe that some of you’ve came across an OEM hardware logo displayed on Windows System Properties window, particularly on those branded workstations / laptops.
Of course, being able to display an OEM logo in Windows System Properties has little or zero benefits to most general users (except for advertisement by hardware manufacturers).
However, you might just want to have some fun, to impress your superior, to show off a little Windows skills, or even rebrand and add the company logo etc, then you might wanted to know how to add a picture or logo.

This can be possible in System Properties of :
Windows Vista
Windows 7

Go through the following steps :

1. Choose a picture and use windows application like paint to resize it down to 120 X 120 Pixels.

2. File saveas with a bmp file extension and give the name OEMLogo.bmp

3. Copy the file to C:/ windows/system32/OEMLogo.bmp
Open windows registry by
Start-- programs--accessories-- command prompt
Then, type in : regedit.exe

Browse the registry path until :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/windows/
currentversion/OEMInformation

The OEMInformation registry will usually have one default file.
While at the OEMInformation folder :
right click on the right pane
select new string value And type logo
next, right click again and choose modify and type C:/windows/system32/OEMLogo.bmp

Repeat 6 , until you create and fill the below details.
NAME TYPE DATA
Default : REG_SZ (value not set)
Logo : REG_SZ C:/windows/system32/OEMLogo.bmp
Manufacturer : REG_SZ YourName and Patners Ltd
Model : REG_SZ Intel/AMD 1.80 Ghz
