"Don't be mean to that person because of their grammar.
I've cleaned up up mine as best I can (obvious lie) so just be nice aye? (I think this is what he means)
I'll be careful with my writing if you just be nice for 24 hours."
And yes, you are making the world better by making sure someone doesn't get their feelings hurt (namingly you) in case you're wondering.

I don't even mind the 'text tlk lik dis' that much, it's just the inability to grasp the actual format a sentence flows through. In fact it does leave me pretty worried for the next generation, who could potentially be taught by people with that level of knowledge of the language :|

I too hate bad spelling when it's taken to extremes. We all make spelling mistakes from time to time, but sometimes you do have to wonder if these kids pay any attention in English class.
