You heard. Capcom isn't having as much financial success as it would like on GC, so games like Viewtiful Joe, Killer 7, Dead Phoenix and a few others will be brought to PS2. Wahey!

But not Resi.

But we have Silent Hill 3.

I don't think this has been confirmed yet - Capcom did say that four of their five announced GameCube games weren't necessarily exclusive, but that's not to say they're being brought to PS2 and/or Xbox. GameCube sales exceeded what they expected last year, by around 200,000 units - so they said that they were happy to continue support for GameCube.

Presumably if sales fall low in 2003, PS2 owners may see Viewtiful Joe, Product Number 03, Dead Pheonix and Killer 7 at some point on their machine - but don't jump the gun on this one.

Who cares?

You have a GC also anyway Asher, so why should you care?

This has never been confirmed, Capcom announced that they won't necessarily stay only on Gamecube.

It's more of a backup plan incase Gamecube sales flump.

Oh and Capcom actually had more profit than they had originally forecasted from Gamecube software.

You won't be seeing any of these games for a good 6 months probably longer from the Cube release, if at all.

At least it would give PS2 owners the chance to suffer a poor quality port of game that was originally designed for alternative hardware.

To be honest, I was curious as to how many of the Ninty forumers pop in here. This was sort of a post to bring you lot out of hiding ;-)

It's nice not caring because you have both consoles.
I like that.

Asher.
Surely you read this in Play? I know you get it (shame on you).
Yes. Shame on me, too.
It sucks. Now
