My sources, which include a six foot talking badger, and a half wolf, half porpoise type creature let me in on some of the following changes that are being made to the game.
Miyamoto feels that the story needs a very definite beginning that nintendo gamers will fell comfortable with, but don't worry, Nintendo aren't going to insist that Mario is pasted all over the game!
Instead Shigeru has developed a further character into the Nintendo family - Gario. Gario is not a Mario brother, but a Mario cousin, and is not a plumber, but a member of the police force, so he won't be seen in colourful dungarees! Though he does have the Mario family trademark 'tache.
The story is to revolve around Gario's discovery of a sinister plot by an as yet unknown corporation, after a tip off from Mario that they may be in cahoots with Bowser. It will lead to the grip discovery that Bowser is sending a poison mushroom to this corporation, and they use it to raise the dead.
Only not dead people, but animals. By some freak of nature the potion to restore life to the dead is spilt into a nearby pet cemetary!
A low level of horror follows when huge bunny rabbits, and gerbils attack people, only they don't bite, they just cause injury by walking into people - this avoids any blood having to appear in the game.
Gario will have access to a number of power up mushrooms, allowing him to grom in size, throw fireballs, and even fly!
These changes to the original game will have a huge impact on the look of the series but Shigeru Miyamoto doesn't feel that this will be a problem, as the Resident Evil name is still there, and fans should embrace these changes, and enjoy trying to return the living dead pets to thier owners, after curing them with a rainbow potion.
Unfortunatel ybefore I could gather further information a trained marksman riding on a giraffe killed my informants.
Shocking stuff though hey?

Miyamoto is currently working on a sub game for the biohazard series called "another dimention" all the characters form super smash bros battle their way through herds of zombies, monsters and PSowners in the quickest and "funnest" way possible :-)
Lol anyway, Meka.
:D
I hope they get the resi games out quick before Nintendo get their cuddley mits on it.
She would be the ringleader of the Zombies...
This was then quashed by the fact that Leach doesn't actually exist...
Last time I trust Meka's sources!
Those were the same informants I had!
Damn, then I know nothing new and pointless. I will only to the level of what is released.
