Ironically, their victory comes off the back of a 3-2 defeat against the Toffees. It was nice to see Aston Villa's star striker getting on the score sheet. But the one thing you have to remember about Schmeichel in that game is that he conceded 3, which everyone seems to have forgotten.

I agree. Even as a Man Utd fan, I can easily see Leeds topping the premiership at the end of the season.

"You'll never win anything with kids"

Plainly not true ;)

Leeds now are the Man Utd of the early nineties. They have the talent in the squad, all they need is to increase their income so they can afford to spend to supplement the youth talent, as man utd did, and then they could easily dominate for several years.

Ferguson is concentrating on Europe this season. He'd quite happily see man utd tkae a UEFA cup place if it meant winning the champions league.

Mind you, I get the impression that before they won it he'd have been happy to see them relegated, provided they were european champs.....

Yeah, there results have not been bad at all, a draw with Man U, Liverpool and chelsea are all quite good, and i feel that the best is still to come from Leeds. Now that they have got some of the best teams out of the way, and are unscaved, i can see them being at the top at the end of the season.

i didn't think they had enough defensive strength i thought only mellberg would be any good as i have followed his progress for a few years now. I suspected they would collapse. Now i must eat humble pie.

Aston Villa have got a pretty good team now.....

Last season they could barely scrape together 11 half-good players! :-)
