As my MSN name proclaims, I've managed to smoke my new XP1600 from overheating - I maintain that it was faulty, OCuk should get a new one sent soon, as it was hitting temperatures above 55"C idle with the most powerful single HSF on the market.

Anyway, I've shoved an old Duron in here for now, anyone got suggestions for what to do with the old XP? it's sitting in a little plastic box at the moment, smeared with a bit of Arctic Silver and looking generally dead. An Interesting keyring would be an idea, as someone broke my old one *glares at jess* last week. Don't fancy the hundreds of pins stabbing me through my pocket really though, and it's not particularly original. Few old ones I could experiment on first, the Cyrix has always been asking to have a drill taken to it..

Very nice system while it lasted anyway, scores of 8000+ in 3d mark 2001, hope to improve on that with my new one and maybe a bit of water cooling. This delta fan sounds like someone's got a hairdrier on constantly right next to me..

Heh. Maybe a keyring... Or perhaps a new watch?

Try to get like 10 heatsinks in so then it will be like icing over. No more heating problems.

Oh... Your getting a new one sent?

10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Second to none...
So far the services you provide are second to none. Keep up the good work.
