I heard a while ago that this was going to be allowed but since then, everything seems to have been cancelled for the Dreamcast and I was wondering whether this feature has survived.
It is suppose to be released over here on the 30th November!!
With Sonic 3 though, it became an excellent game.
I'm not happy.
A game should be totally independant of all sequels and prequels. Giving 'extras' to those who do have the other one isn't fair - it's depriving those who don't, simply in order to persuade people to get both.
Same thing with Banjo Tooie and Banjo Kazooie. Not quite sure about Sonic & Knuckles though... that was a bit different.
> Can anyone even confirm if it's being released in the Uk?
Yes, It will be released 'All over Europe'.
And get this, we Europeans will be the only people to get the game in the English language!!!
In America it has been cancelled!
It Is definately set for December 4th. And the VMU Save from Shenmue will be transported over somehow. And this is CONFIRMED by Sega-Europe.

Excellent. I'll go finish Shenmue 1.
I even had to go to Gameplay to see if it had been released... they said it's going to be, but they're Gameplay, and I can't trust them. Damn dirty Gameplay, as a certain member might say.
On the VMU front, no idea. I don't want to look too hard into Shenmue 2 in case I see any spoilers, and I haven't even completed the first game yet.
