A room with three light bulbs has 3 switches outside. You can only go into the room once, and when you swich the switches you cannot see the light bulbs. How can you see which switch leads to which bulbs?

Ok. Maybe I worded it wrong. You're supposed to turn 1 bulb on for long enough for it to get hot, leave one off and turn the last one on. Then when you go in the room one bulb will be hot, one will be on and one will be off. Simple isn't it?
Plug the bulbs into the sockets or something? What a suckey riddle.
