I did, and it didn't speed up my internet, so I removed it, but whenever I turn the machone on, when windows loads up, this speenet thing always pops up?

PERFECT ... Nice one :o).
Click Start -> Run, and type in "msconfig". Click on the startup tab, and uncheck the box(es) next to anything to do with Speednet.
