All to often, nostalgia puts a false sheen on things.

Not on OOT.

Sweet sweet game.

As ever.

I can't play WW yet, as my brother wants 'first go' (as he paid) and so I have to wait. As he hasn't got round to it. And has hidden the WW disc.

Evil.

Nah, not really, although I'll reserve final judgement until I've played it or at least seen some more of it.

And sorry for the terrible wording of my last post.

OK, the Final Fantasy series springs to mind quickest. I haven't liked a lot of recent games, but I like Timesplitters 2, Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid...as I say I haven't been into a lot recently - maybe because I haven't been buying as many due to exams. There are a few on the Cube I want, and I'm looking forward to a few as well - Viewtiful, PN03, Dead Phoenix amongst others.

Seeing as Zelda: OOT of time is still deservedly rated as one of the best games ever, I doubt any of us are wrong.

It's just the games don't appeal to you.

What games other than Resident Evil and Monkey Ball do you actually like?

Ahem. You obviously don't understand what I'm getting at.

What I meant was, sometimes you really like a game when it first comes out, and then when you look back at it you still like even though it isn't that good. Because you liked it back then. Erm....see?

How can you decide that if you never played it on the N64 and only recently got to play it for the first time?

Silly boy.

I don't know what people see in these Zelda games. I've played OOT, and I really think you're wrong about the nostalgic shine...
