I expect most of you remember Doom. It was an amazing game at the time, but then people started to go off it, because of the copies of it with better graphics, etc. Haa, none of them were ever really as good as Doom though, and what prooves this is the fact that there are still so many "Doomers" around today. You just have to visit websites such as DoomWorld.com (which is still updated regularly) to see this. Yeah, what most of you don't realize is that there are still online multiplayer servers running for Doom, 24 hours a day, the best of which being the CSdoom (Client / Server Doom) and ZDaemon servers. There are also so many upgrades for Doom, such as Boom and ZDoom, and Doomers are still developing new levels, graphics, tunes, skins (different characters you can play as on ZDoom, CSdoom, ZDaemon, etc., such as Duke Nukem and the bloke out of Blood). Anyway, I believe, along with many others, that Doom will, one day, take its rightful place once more, and become known as "The Master of All Games" again, finally, and it's going to be soon, as Doom is soon to be released on the Game Boy Advance! So, if you want to help with the resurrection of Doom, the best place to start is the multiplayer servers - go to http://www.doomworld.com and download CSDoom, ZDaemon and Internet Doom Explorer (a program that lists the games being played on CSDoom and ZDaemon, and lets you join any), and get fragging those Doomers in deathmatches and blowing the crap out of those imps and caco demons in coop games. By the way, I'm MaTT, the leader of Clan TiK (TiK stands for ThisIsKool, as in ThisIsKool.com, temporarily offline at present), and I'm inviting anyone that reads this message to join Clan TiK (just add " [TiK]" to the end of your name when online)!! Doom ain't dead at all, he's right there's tons of people who still play this online. As for your Doom was always dead comment, are you blind, don't you know how big Doom was and still is.
