I'm having trouble with FTP now.

I've tried to conntect to update the PHP Permission thingy, and can't log in.

I'm using the FTP Bult into IE, which I have used for ages, and went to the usual ftp://srid:[email protected] , and usualy that works fine, but now a dialog box keeps asking me for my username and password, I click ok, and it keeps coming back up, saying I can't login with that ID ... whats changed??

Oh, and I am connecting via Freeola, as I kow thats needed.

Thats ok, anyway i'm off down the pub now, I'll probably be back on tomorrow.

It's ok, works now.

Guess it was a one off thing???

What exactly did you type in?

ok, I changed all my ftp addresses and tried again.... this came up

Windows cannot access this Folder. Make sure you typed the file name correctly and that you
have permission to access the folder.

The server name or address could not be resolved.

Ah, I see, thanx.

We had to change the way ftp works so we could add new servers. You need to type in:

ftp://[email protected]

Or the following for classemail:

ftp://[email protected]

Hope that sorts it out. If not do to freeola.com/support and click the click here link next to ftp address.
