am i right in thinking that?
Another thing you should consider is how much RAM you have and what sort. As the new AMD motherboard like the nForce2 boards support dual RAM. This dual RAM opens more memory bandwidth when used. So for example you had 512mb DDR400 and decided to get 2 x 256 DDR400 and use dual memory then your systems performance would infact increase by quite abit, even though you still have the same amount of RAM.
I am building a PC in a few weeks and will be using 2 x 512mb DDR400 and use dual memory so hopefully it will be a fast machine, especially with a XP2800 Barton and a Radeon 9700 Pro/.
