I have purchased the above item for my son, but would like confirmation that the screen can be bypassed (whilst still screwed onto the PSone) and the game be played as normal on the TV screen. This I understood was achieved by plugging the lead that normally goes in the multi point at the back of the PS being plugged into the TVOut socket on the back of the screen.
There is an on/off switch and a TV/LCD switch on the screen - when turned on and set to LCD the game can be played via the screen, when set to TV the game will not output to the television.
There may well be some instructions regarding this on the leaflet enclosed - but as it is all in French I am at a loss!
Can anyone tell me that the unit is able to be kept on the PSone console and does not have to be taken off each time to reconnect to the TV.
Your help would be most appreciated!!
