"Which scanner for digital photography is the best?"

I want to invest in a good scanner but am undecided on which to go for... so far the canonscan D2400UF seems to be the one to grab my attention but I wanted to get some opinions first.

Has anyone used this scanner or if anyone has any general recommendations then I would be really grateful to know about them!

I use the Canonscan D2400UF with the film adapter. I've got no complaints with it at all and think it produces good, precise quality scans, and claims to have one of the fastest scanning times in its class.

I would definitely recommend them and if i were you I'd go check out the canon site to get a full over-view of the products and if you find that it's not the for you then at least you can see what else is on offer - but if you're serious about buying a good scanner then this scanner, I think, could bethe right one for you.
