But apparently the government is set to announce that Heathrow will have a Terminal 5. The announcement is set to be made tomorrow, just as UK ground troops go into Afghanistan.
That will be (in my mind) the third announcement that at any other tim would have caused uproar. The first two being the nuclear announcement the other week, and the cannabis announcement 2 days ago.
Is it right though?
When the country is concentrating on other things, then these decisions can be sneaked through without hardly raising an eyebrow. Any other time and they would be headline news.
I suppose it makes perfect sense from the governments point of view, but it appears sneaky if you're against the plans.
I'm personally glad of the cannibis rule, so I'm pleased that is has been changed.
Others will have different views though.
