At the moment we are using computers to create our characters in our games but most likely in the future we will be using actors for games. So the characters in our games won't just look like real humans but actually will be humans.
The wierd thing about it is that films are beginning to do the absolute opposite. At the moment we are using real actors, however films like 'Final Fantasy' will soon enough run actors out of business by using computers to create artificial actors.
At the moment we don't have a game with actual real actors in but the way and speed that technology is impropving, I believe that it won't be long until we do.
Another topic like these is to look at the music industry. Firstly the music its self is changing as D J's music is becoming ever increasingly loved by millions world wide. And so actual musical instruments aren't even used. With the exeption to rock which is making a small come back but I don't believe that it will last long (although I may be wrong). Secondly the music videos are changing to computer based, e.g 'Red Hot Chilli Peppers' 'Daft Punk' 'Steps' and many more are set to change the way music videos are shown dramatically.
What do you think?
I believe that games will be completely changed with real life actors waving 'Good-bye' to the computer's Artificial Intelligence.
