1. We Are history - Really funny spoof history show (I doubt it would be as funny if it was over ten minutes long, though)
2. The Adam & Joe Show - Even in it's third series it was still hilarious. Who can forget 'Eighties House' and all those Star Wars toys.
3. Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors - Kids TV show from the eighties. Kicked a55 where it mattered.
4. Thundercats - Sigh, I wish I was Liono. When I'm older I'm going to buy a cat and call it Snarf.
5. This Morning With Richard and Not Judy - One of the funniest things I have ever seen (next to Alan Partridge). It had great little shows inside, like Nestor's Eye. Why won't the BBC bring it back?

Well that's my list, nothing like Star Trek, after all it was best TV programmes, not Sci-Fi.

Sorry, it's a pet hate.

Gonzo is right. However, Star Trek is often referred to as a Cult programme but this has a mass of followers. I believe people use the word wrongly these days just to define a programme with a devoted following regardless of size. This programmes are usually no longer being made or broadcast too.

Ahem - DVD forum maybe the right place for this?

Anyway, I hate the world cult as it is totally misused in almost any context relating to medai. For example, how can you ever argue that the Simpson's is a cult programe?

Cult = small devoted following. Simpsons is universally recognized as one of the greatest TV shows of all time i.e. not a cult.

Sorry, it's a pet hate.
