GC may appeal to some but honestly i would much rather buy a PS2. If you are a nintendo fanboy then why don't you come and tell me 'why' GC is so good.

1. Gamecube has FAR superior graphical abilities when compared to the PS2.
2. The Gamecube has almost non existant loading times on games.
3. The Gamecube Controller is comfortable, easy to use AND very very responsive
4. Games. Gamecube has THE best games. Oh so ps2 has GTa3 and vice city but Cube has zelda, metroid, mario, SSBM, rogue leader and alot more. (yes i can never remember em all :p)
5. Nintendo basicly rule when it comes to games and quality. Never had a problem with my GC and i got it on release date. My bro has had lots of problems with his PS2 not playing games and freezing on GTA3.

Um.. actually GTA games aren't exclusive to PS2, they are also on the PC.
How can you even compare the two? While the PS2 has a few good exclusive games, like GTA, all of their best game are multiformat. The GameCube, along with the XBox, have loads of classic exclusive games.
The Getaway, Primal, they're all crap, Final Fantasy, GTA and a few exceptions are the PS2's only highlights, whih pale in comparison to it's competition.
